Rajif, situated south of the Petra region, is a vibrant agricultural community known for growing a variety of fruits and vegetables while preserving deep-rooted Bedouin traditions. Though the residents have settled in the village and engage in farming, many still maintain the Bedouin practice of goat herding. In this program, you'll visit a local home, spend quality time with the residents, explore their farm, and, if the season permits, participate in harvesting fresh fruits or vegetables. You'll also experience Bedouin culture firsthand as the family shares insights into their daily lives and how Bedouin traditions continue to thrive. The tour includes a visit to a scenic viewpoint where you can enjoy a home-cooked dinner with stunning views of the Jordan Valley, Wadi Araba, and breathtaking sunsets in spring and autumn. This program is supported by the "Rajif Special Needs Association," with proceeds benefiting their activities and the local community.
